Do you bill insurance? What about Medicare?
We have the ability to bill Medicare and your insurance electronically and will gladly do that as a courtesy for you. However, you are responsible for payment at the time of service. When we bill your insurance, your reimbursement will be sent directly to you from your insurance carrier. If your insurance proves itself to be dependable in paying your claims, we can arrange with you to accept the co-pay.
Insurance is complicated by changing rules and regulations, but we will do our best to help you. Please remember that your insurance company is working for you in the way that you hired them. If they are not acting in your best interest I highly recommend that you contact them and let them know. My primary purpose at this clinic is to provide the highest level of health care in the most efficient manner as I can.
Medicare coverage for chiropractic is limited to “a subluxation of the spine related to a specific injury”, which tends to exclude a lot of what we can offer at this clinic. However, we usually find an association with the spine, such as a relationship of wrist pain (which is not covered) to the sixth cervical vertebra (which is covered).
